"You can never come home again.'

The third chapter pushes the limits yet again and features a spitfire display of neon riddled city scapes where bullet holes are as common as a phone ringing. The characters continue to expand with even more deadly additions to rival Wick's own fierceness. Book to the nose, knife to the heart, bullet to the head. Fuck with the bull and you get the horns, and Keanu continues to outperform.

I’m an English teacher not fucking Tomb Raider.”

Still one of my favorite horror films of all time. It’s rather slow building in the first half, but after the notorious jump scare, it never slows down and completely turns into a bloody, tense fight for survival. The cinematography has always been a little weird, but for a claustrophobic creature film in a cave, I think it works brilliantly for what it’s trying to do.

Simply a downright badass action movie with lead characters you actually want to succeed. Denzel & Dakota Fanning have great chemistry, and when Creasy starts on his path to find the people responsible for taking Pita, it goes full throttle. Probably my personal favorite Denzel performance tbh. The music during the montage where he's gearing up and checking his guns would make a return in John Wick

Toni Collette always makes me feel uncomfortable towards the end every time I watch this. She does such a fantastic job and delivers easily one of my favorite performances of the 2010s. Gabriel Byrne and Alex Wolff are great too; the shit these characters have to go thru is horrifying and all 3 main trio of actors are really believable and awesome at their roles. I like the way that this film deals with grief and how grief affects the…

Just when I thought I couldn't possibly be more impressed, the Hotline Miami scene starts. Device of destruction: Dragon's Breath

The song Plastic Heart featured in the series goes unnecessarily hard, even tho the rest of the soundtrack consistently does, that one stands out the most for me
