I can't describe it because the movie arguably makes no sense but I almost love it as much of Suspiria. It gets a lot more into the mythology and madness. I just wish there was a bit more of the juicy witch building stuff and less just characters being like "huh... that's a bit strange." Still the vibes are immaculate and I just idk can't describe why but it's so captivating in concept and delivery.
Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs 1937
Bro why's the kingdom at the end in the clouds?? Did she actually die? Is her prince like God or something? Too many questions.
It's worse! But only marginally because they changed and added like two very minor things and then shortened a bunch of shots. Which makes the pacing of the scenes just a little bit worse. Which Ridley himself said this cut was more or less a marketing thing and he preferred the originally. But yeah they're honestly so similar there's pretty much nothing that makes this cut worth watching over the original. Anyway everything else about it is still pretty much perfect.
The Invisible 2007
Nick: You almost killed me! You're a monster!
*she puts her hair down and changes clothes*
Nick: I mean you're actually kind of hot so maybe you're not so bad
