I liked it but I think I prefer the approach of The Strangers more. I like less explanation and complete nihilism in these type of horror films more than the developed twist storyline. Adam Wingard is great with this type of material. I wish he stayed in this area instead of big studio adaptation filmmaking
Some of the best suspense scenes I've seen in a theater in a while, very anxiety-inducing. I found the beginning to be truly horrifying and maybe the strongest part of the film. It's kind of like Us in that it would be perfect if it weren't for a few conveniences/inconsistency (Us is significantly better still).
I loved it every time the score went BRRRRRRRRRRMRRRRMRMRMRMMMMM!!!!!
