The movie doesn’t waste any time showing off a creature.
I found myself mostly indifferent about the main characters and I ended up rooting for one of the creatures more than the humans. Perhaps that was intentional in the writing but I found this odd.
The scale of global destruction is as big as it gets, which became a little tiresome after a while. I understand that’s the point but I got sort of bored from all of it.
It’s a mindless popcorn blockbuster so if you go into it with those expectations, you likely won’t be disappointed.
