Garrett Smith’s review published on Letterboxd:
If no one told people this was supposed to be some great or amazing movie, the reviews for this would be a lot lower.
You can be critical of Reichardt's pace and storytelling while also appreciating the performances and cinematography.
Personally, I found Certain Women to be a mundane and self satisfied film, lacking the creative voice that made Meek's Cutoff (a film I apprrciate far more than enjoy) a unique genre film.
But if you truly love her work, then this film will satisfy all your Reichardt needs.
