Gavin Gibson’s review published on Letterboxd:
Mesmerising, heartbreaking, iridescent and devastating are just a few words to describe Andrei Tarkovsky's post apocalyptic masterpiece Stalker. In my mind, the man never made a poor film but It could be argued that Stalker stands as his greatest achievement of filmmaking.
Somehow even today It manages to remain as frightening as It did in 1979. The prospect of a world where the rules of physics are in flux seems all too real and yet completely and utterly fascinating.
One of the greatest science fiction films of all time and one of the greatest achievements from a director that was somehow centuries ahead of his time.
