Gavrilo’s review published on Letterboxd:
Even for a director like Carpenter—whose effusive professionalism only attracted the same league of working actors in a “Who’s who” repertoire of “Hey, I know that guy!” stalwarts—this has to be one of his most talented and respectable casts of his career. Lots to love here even if I ultimately don’t rank this as one of the filmmaker’s greats. Had this been directed by anyone else though, I doubt it’d work at all in this mode—all doom & gloom and minimally-plotted despite its high concept. A movie I admire more than I love to watch.
