    ★★★½

This was good. The investigation keeps you hooked the entire time. The pacing was excellent didn't feel like it stretched 2+ hours. Only downside is it got predictable midway. Magizh Thirumeni is super talented, hoping he churns out good thrillers in the future.

  • Kavaludaari

    Kavaludaari

    ★★★½

Kavaludaari is a very good movie. It's just that it was too long. At least a solid 30 mins could have been cut. They really should have edited it better. Anant Nag pulling his single barrel gun and taking out one of the bad guys was really badass. His casting did elevate the movie to another level. Rishi was fantastic and convincing as a traffic cop yearning to make a mark. The protagonist's father somehow being connected to one of…

Liked it but it's just too basic.

Teen Titans Go! To the Movies

    ★★★½

This is enjoyably stupid. I couldn't believe how funny it was. It takes all the generic superhero tropes and mercilessly mocks and parodies it endlessly. And all of it done in a very fabulous way and yes, there's a lot of inane humor too. Kudos on picking the right voice actors (Nic Cage as Superman, Will Arnett as Slade). For some weird reason, listening to Nic Cage's voice does lift my spirits. The movie doesn't tire you one bit. Although…

    Booksmart

    ★★★★

Excellent. But I want to state that there needs to be a Booksmart Cinematic Universe. Man, all of these characters are super interesting. Every single one of them, barring Ryan (you heard me, Amy!!) and Nick. I now want a movie exploring Gigi and Jared's friendship. Gigi is probably the most interesting character in Booksmart. And that pizza delivery guy who's a serial killer (whhhhhaaaaaat!). Really need a movie starring him as well.

    Ohm Shanthi Oshaana

    ★★★½

Stereotypical characters but the screenplay makes it a refreshing experience. This is one uncynical love story with a happy ending that is really enjoyable.

  • Thor

    Thor

    ★★★

Pretty average. It's just Chris Hemsworth and Tom Hiddleston who propel the movie forward. Idris Elba and Anthony Hopkins kinda wasted. That hammer scene is topclass stuff. There's enough room and potential for some great humour. But sadly the movie didn't make good use of all the opportunities that came its way. #rewatch

Extremely engaging. Fred MacMurray is phenomenal. Only downside is the ending which was kinda predictable.

  • Bringing Up Baby

    Bringing Up Baby

    ★★

Annoying. Just plain annoying. Gaah. Plenty of yelling and fast-paced dialogue delivery. Just so much noise I wanted to pull my hair out. Katherine Hepburn's character 'Susan Vance' has to be one of the most annoying characters in movie history. Funny here and there. Thanks to Cary Grant and the leopard. I'm still so annoyed.

    Singin' in the Rain

    ★★★★

This is a lovely movie. Loved the singing and the dancing. Omg I have a huge crush on Gene Kelly. Debbie Reynolds, Gene Kelly and Donald O'Connor were excellent. Remarkable and unforgettable.

  • The Maltese Falcon

    The Maltese Falcon

    ★★★

Humphrey Bogart was excellent. The twists are supposed to be shocking. But honestly they barely left any impression. This isn’t quite the memorable movie that I hoped it would be.
