Kung Fu Panda 2008
gorgeous animation, my favourite character design in an animated movie i think? Everybody looks so soft and cute but also manage to work as serious characters at the same time? Genius.
Nice lil story too. Not too corny. Maybe a lil predictable, but. S'nice.

House 1977
A 70s Japanese horror film that manages to be supercool, visually spectacular, impossibly cheesy, ridiculous and just straight-up trippy all at the same time. Mixed with this eccentric, unexpected psychedelic jazz rock soundtrack, to me the result is this film that does chaos perfectly.
It's trippy to the point where you're genuinely not sure if this was a classic cheesy mainstream horror film that just went really hard on the visual tricks and effects, or if it's a complete artisticโฆ
