It's still impressive for what it is. I don't think they did very much to heighten this musical that isn't fantastic to begin with. I'm so mad because I liked this a lot and even loved parts of it. I'm not great at sitting through films were you experience a lot of second hand embarrassment for the lead. But I really enjoyed watching how things played out, no matter how frustrating. The integration with social media wasn't half assed like usual. BUT THOSE LAST THREE MINUTES MAKE ME SO MAD. Just after the first fifteen minutes of the film I felt as if I couldn't wait until I got to watch what I had seen so far thirty more times.
