George Clark’s review published on Letterboxd:
A pleasant surprise to watch towards the end. Another film that I put of watching for along time. Bill Murray shines in this good-natured comedy and with a score of 96% of Rotten Tomatoes it goes to show just how much of a pleasant surprise this is. This film understands how people would feel if the day repeated and goes into not just the many antics that you can get up to but also the manipulative behaviour that can accrue knowing no one will remember what happens as well as the mental toll that it has on his character mid way through the film. Whilst not being a masterpiece, Groundhog Day is still a good film that after awhile will deserve another viewing.
