All About Eve ★★★★

While Anne Baxter's Eve is the one clawing her way to the top in Joseph L. Mankiewicz's deliciously malicious All About Eve - it's Bette Davis, as theatre star Margo Channing that emerges scratched, bloody but victorious.

A wonderfully written psychological cat-fight that jabs hard at the darker sides of fame and fortune, while giving us performances to obsess over.
