Part of the ’25 Tour’, this was filmed at London’s Earls Court Exhibition Centre in 2008 and was also the first live tour DVD of George Michael’s solo career. In his first tour in 15 years, the tour was to celebrate George’s music past and present spanning ‘A Different Corner’, ‘Flawless (Go To The City)’ and ‘Shoot The Dog’.
Full of fantastic high-energy performances and slow, stripped down ballads that showcase George’s inimitable vocal range and heartfelt emotion in his songs. A great performer who comes across as a real natural performer who loves his fans and enjoys the music he writes and performs.
Backed by a large live band and soulful backing singers who really give the songs some power as well as the visually stunning stage, this is a stand-out tour for George Michael and it’s a shame this show was observed as one of his final ever concerts on this scale.
