Mike D'Angelo’s review published on Letterboxd:
A.V. Club review. First half (through the nightclub) is arguably the modernist masterpiece, though now I'm curious to see how I'll respond to L'Avventura when I revisit it. (First and only viewing was 13 years ago; I'm not sure what stage of metamorphosis my taste had reached at that point.) Less enamored of the hour-long party setpiece, which makes concrete what had previously been ineffable (and largely architectural). But even that has its Vitti—sorry, I mean its moments.
