Jake.G’s review published on Letterboxd:
Ya, this movie was a lot darker than I was expecting. Sometimes it even felt that it was too dark for its own good. Robert Pattinson and Riley Keough both deliver as usual and Tom Holland & Bill Skarsgård both give probably their best performances to current date. The thing really holding this movie back for me is the lack of character and style, the whole movie just felt so damn stale, like an old plain lays potato chip.
I could keep writing about this movie, but while writing this I just found out that RILEY KEOUGH IS ELVIS’ GRANDDAUGHTER. LIKE HOLY SHIT. How the hell does this never get brought up?
Anyways I can see some people hating this and I can see some people loving this, interested to see what other people think.
