“If you want love, then this is it. This is real life. It's not perfect but it's real.”
Late Linklater is the best Linklater. I feel like the first two were very romanticized which I liked cause of how passionate and real they filled. The film aesthetic captured the rosy, hazy feel that we have with the beginnings of love. The digital aesthetic shows us the reality and the clear view they have of each other, it’s complicated but there’s still lots of love there. This is the best of the trilogy.
