A Ghost Story ★★★★½

This one is something special yknow, the ones that you leave with a different perspective on everything you know. It’s an invasion of recognizing the emotions we keep to ourselves on a daily basis that we’re too afraid to speak of. The theme of unfinished business is across every aspect here and it’s a motivator to live without regret and for a film to inspire that makes it truly special. We may not mean jack to the majority of the population (as the bald guy at the party clearly states) but as long as there’s something we love it makes it all bearable. There was little dialogue but it makes it all the easier to love as in the end actions mean more than words and David Lowery couldn’t have executed that portrayal any better. “[communicating telepathically]”
