P.S.: My 2018 Project.

Pure schlock. Even its premise is schlocky, remaking Suspiria into a Holocaust drama? Who thought this was a good idea? Its attempts at horror are entirely inefficient, its characters are inane, its climax is dismal and it’s insufferably overlong. It even has some bad, not-so-subtle attempts at feminism. I struggle to even see the point of this film. The only aspect I liked was the choreography, though not always perfect, it was entrancing at times. It boggles the mind how ineffectual this is in horror. It has no atmosphere, no incremental build-up, no scenes of focused, prolonged suspense, not even a decent score.
