Saltburn 2023
I enjoyed this one. Its not perfect; its clear that Emerald Fennell is still growing as a director, but overall this was a solid film. Funny, a little gross, but also wildly beautiful. Fennell knows how to make a beautiful film. She struggles, However, to make a sensible ending. Just as her first film Promising Young Woman did, this one starts to fall a part a bit towards the end there. It just felt rushed, especially in opposition to the well-thought out first and second act.
Nonetheless, was still entertained and entirely immersed in the world of Saltburn.
