Rookie of the Year 1993
Adding guitar solos as the sound of tendons snapping was a nice touch, but daniel sterns character shoula been omitted completely.

Four Brothers 2005
Its been years since I watched Four Brothers but this is what started my boner for Garret Hedlund and I will always be grateful.
Still as entertaining as I remember, and the dynamic between the brothers is fantastic aside from Wahlberg’s homophobia... but I like to imagine it was stemming from his characters own struggle with accepting his queerness. -
The Crew 1994
“No I’m sure they’re just here for cocaine.”
Ugh that’s maybe wanted I needed to help power through this. The Crew starts out as an everybody hates Donal, and then turns into a weird sorta transphobic mess about smugglers, and tension I guess?
So basically terrible for 90% of it, considering donal, viggo and a young jeremy sisto... (plus chrissy from thrashin, & turtle from north shore) but *finger guns*
What’s weirding me out though is there are like two scenes that are kinda beautiful... and Donal, Sisto and Laura Del Sol do almost figure out a way to circumvent the atrocious script.

Happiest Season 2020
A very twee holiday romance overflowing with kristen/mackenzie makeouts to make up for their lack of chemistry.
Tbh honest, the supporting cast was holding it together for me for 80% of it (dan levy and mary holland especially), but k-stewarts outfits and general look also helped, & the end wrapped it up in a way that will (maybe?) make second watch feel more enjoyable.
That said Harper was gaslighting and i was rooting for riley for the steal. -
The Notebook 2004
I once asked a Lyft driver what he thought the saddest movie ever was, and he said the Notebook.
I asked him what he thought the second saddest movie ever was, and he said “Fast and Furious 7.”
