Darker than I expected—both tonally and literally. I liked the lights out gimmick. This was, mercifully, less an on-the-nose Gen Z satire than the trailer and press tour lead me to believe. I don’t think I hated this as much or thought it was quite as self indulgent as A Ghost Story but it just didn’t hit for me. Although there were a few transcendent moments (the green knight himself, the uncanny giants, the whole final sequence) the whole thing is just lowkey a bore…
