Gibran Meza’s review published on Letterboxd:
As someone who has grown tired of the superhero genre (more so this year), I'll be the first to admit that -as this film shows- there's still some fresh stories left that need to be told.
I know it's kinda pointless to say what everyone has already said, mostly because I have nothing new to add, but I'll say it anyways: This is the best superhero movie of 2018. I don't know if I can say that it's the best Spider-Man film of all time because I'm very biased towards the Sam Raimi duology (What do you mean there's a third movie?! Get outta here!) but It's right there, man.
Kudos to the animation department that developed the Spider verse, they deserve all the praise they've gotten and more.
Definitely going to watch it a second time soon.
