I saw Wonder Woman at an afternoon screening today, and 6 hours later I'm still mulling it over. I know the bar is pretty low for a D.C. Comic movie, but I think so far this is the best of the bunch.
The high point is by far Gal Gadot, playing the amazon who comes to save the world from war.
The action scenes are shot way too close, which I guess no one should really gripe about, since that seems to be the norm, and the characters are about as one-dimensional as the comic pages they're lifted from.
I think as appealing as Wonder Woman was, after so left the theatre I felt it left me flat.
