Spider-Man: Far from Home

Spider-Man: Far from Home ★★★★

This movie is honestly really good. If you are expecting this to be a full-on dark movie after the events of Endgame you would be mistaken. Most of this movie is much like Homecoming where it is focused on the teen life of Peter Parker. He is going on a much-deserved vacation, but people keep trying to rope him into doing superhero stuff. It's always one of the most compelling parts of the Spiderman franchise to have Peter Parker struggling between his life, and that of being a hero.

Jake puts on a fantastic performance as Mysterio as well, and makes for one of the most memorable characters in the MCU. The performance is multi-layered and really well handled, even if it is very different from the source material. The performances across the board are really good, balancing both humor and emotion very well. It makes for a well-rounded movie that works even better than Homecoming did before it.

Overall, Spider-Man Far from Home is another great edition in the MCU. What’s more is that the movie does a really good job of being different enough from the rest of the series that this really stands out. It's almost a completely different movie that Endgame, but a worthy follow-up to it all the same. It’s certainly worth checking out.
