Charming. Expected to have more of an emotional connection with it, but didn’t quite get there. It’s a much better movie than you’d ever expect though.

That’s it? That’s what four years of people insisting that Snyder’s creative vision needed to be seen? We get this four hour mess of self-indulgence and scattered narrative?
I’ll give it points for some beautiful shots, but this is the pinnacle of Snyder’s style over substance approach to filmmaking. If you cut out all the gratuitous slow-motion, it’d be two hours and probably less intolerable. What a disaster. Completely unlikable characters. Terrible soundtrack. No narrative cohesion.
