For the first hour and forty minutes I was hooked, but in the last 40 minutes it dragged on a bit too long, would have made an excellent 2 hour and 10 minutes film in my opinion. But on rewatch I believe it could improve.
At first I was like “it’s just a coincidence that this movie shares the name with a choir song I sang in 8th grade” and then it played at the end and I was like “you gained my respect Terence”
An adorable, beautiful small film that many should check out. I find it amazing how the movies that you’re anticipating let you down and the ones you aren’t excited for blow you away. Or is that just me?
