The whole time my heart was in my throat. It was so nerve wracking and intense. It takes you 20 minutes to get used to the loud jewish bickerings of the characters. I didn’t know whether to hate adam sandler’s character or sympathize with him. The visuals were really nice to look at, i liked the graininess of the film. Very frustrating movie to watch but i’m glad i got to see it.

Honestly, i had this sitting in my netflix list for a while, and i’m so glad i randomly decided to watch it. The acting was so genuine by every character, that i would forget i was watching a movie, and just got so involved with the characters lives, it felt so real.
