Glen Grunau’s review published on Letterboxd:
Every once in awhile a very special film comes long that touches me in some deep place in my soul, for reasons not completely tangible.
This movie about deep pain, loss, regret, love, faith and renewed hope was one of these movies. And that’s about all I want to say about it for fear of tarnishing the magic.
But I will say that I have never seen Antonio Banderas in a stronger role and that I have been really warming up to Spanish movies this week. This is my third Spanish film in the past week and the second in three nights with the gorgeous Penelope Cruz.
