Spooks A-Poppin' 1992
One of my favourite documentaries. Yes technically it's quite amateur—but for spook show fans or those wanting to know what really went on during those stage shows should definitely seek this out. A great companion to Mark Walker's book, consisting of the great ghost masters recalling their days on the stage—kind of like a video podcast with some extra goodies.

The Nest of the Cuckoo Birds 1965
Cuckoo Birds haunted me for years, mainly due to it's bizarre campaign, hence why I freaked upon getting the chance to actually see it. Suffice to say it defies all expectations, acting like a bizarre fever dream of melodramatic horror. Phobe: The Xenophobic Experiments 1995
It's trippy watching this. Moreso for the fact that I was a production assistant for Erika at Cogeco TV. Seeing this at a christmas party with one of the cast members, being awestruck at the fact that as a huge SOV fan and not knowing that such an epic was shot in the same halls I walked, same locations I shot my trash and what they could get away with back then. I knew there was more behind Erika's Plan 9 references, I just didn't expect something as special as this.
