Geoffry Govertsen’s review published on Letterboxd:
It's so easy to forget that this movie is thoroughly a comedy but once the action gets going, we remember.
Has Samara Weaving ever done a movie where her whole body isn't absolutely covered in assorted nasty liquid?
This movie is a pinnacle of Hollywood absurdism in horror and it does it well, surprisingly well for being such a large studio-controlled film. Not to say studios don't churn out quality, it's just the peer reviewing and editing tends to take away from a films uniformity. This movie did not suffer that.
