Gregory Davis’s review published on Letterboxd:
I really enjoy movies like this that give you a behind the scenes view of how the movies are made. Leslie Howard did a great job as the nerd banker, and is very good at comedy. It is a true shame that he died so young due to the war. Humphrey Bogart gives a good supporting actor performance as a producer, but he isn't quite the persona we know him for yet in this one. My only complaint is that the ending seems rushed, and could have gone just a little more longer to show us whether the studio was saved or not.
