Paul Elliott’s review published on Letterboxd:
”Sometimes I'd feel very old, like my whole life is over, like I'm not around no more.” utters Linda (Linda Manz) in this beautiful Terrence Malick movie which features an abundance of fantastic panoramic cinematography courtesy of Néstor Almendros. Malick spent two entire years editing this haunting film, and the ghostly silence of the fields undulating in the breeze is a hush that he doesn't even let the excellent score by the great Ennio Morricone disturb. This is a poignant and evocative movie from a poetic filmmaker.
