Visually The Florida Project is an absolute dream. After a really draining day at work seeing this on the big screen was cathartic in a way i cant really explain. Its free spirited nature is so welcoming even in amongst the hardships. It teeters on the edge of feeling like part prison and part open aired adventure. The cinematography deserves more awards attention. It's sublime.
There's still something missing for me somewhere in the middle but I'm really grateful this exists just as something fresh and untapped. It isn't at all hard to rewatch either.
