Gordon Diggs’s review published on Letterboxd:
So first the good: this is a compelling movie. The story is well-told, well-acted, well-directed, and well-shot. It doesn’t feel 3.5 hours long. It’s nostalgic for older mob movies, like when your teenage favorite band puts out a new collection of B-sides.
But there’s a scene early in the movie where 2 female characters literally take a backseat, and then all the women stay there for the whole movie. Marty, maybe you should take a note from the Marvel movies and tell some stories with more than just white men
