There is no one like the auteur Bong Joon-ho. No one!
I am so thankful I was able to go through this roller coaster with a crowd of 1150 people.
Parasite is another home run that is impossible to sum up as there is so much happening at once. And yet he manages it (again) so effortlessly. Hard to know what's crazier. The narrative itself or the social paradigms? However, many of the questions and implications here go way beyond the borders of Korea. Although, of course, the film is accessible purely on a literal level (as with Okja and Snowpiercer before).
Profound, poignant and absolute insanity! A filmmaker at the top of his game and in complete control of his craft.
