This film deserves a star for every foot of Elizabeth Debecki's height but i guess 5 will have to do
Don’t get me wrong, there are so many things that I enjoyed about this film. The stop motion was unique and absolutely beautiful, the central storyline creative and touching. Atari and Chief’s theme was memorable and simple, a three note trill that was artfully played throughout the movie.
But on the flip side, the Japanese characters in the movie were reduced to nothing more than unintelligible caricatures. The locals of the city were depicted as either emotional, scheming antagonists or…
