Had never heard of this movie before the algorithm suggested it to me (weirdly the day after I posted about seeing a huge meteor in the sky) but I loved it. Emotionally grounded disaster film without the disaster porn. A great surprise.
Perfection. The cinematic equivalent of pointing where your home run is gonna go, hitting the ball, it goes wide left, but you still run the bases and revel in a score. I loved it. A sublimely stupid sci-fi disaster masterpiece.
