Granpa Monk’s review published on Letterboxd:
Reading the reviews for this movie from people I trust makes me think I should apologize and turn in my Film Appreciation Card. Anne Hathaway is great, and Johnny Flynn is passable (and, when compared to Oscar Isaac's performance in Inside Llewyn Davis, a revelation). The indie folk songs are a perfect fit written by indie folk darling Jenny Lewis. I did not find the hate and ire that so many have for this film. It's an indie underachiever and I (apologetically) liked it.
