Blown away. Genuinely had goosebumps for probably 50/60% of the movie. Could live in this world and watch this story unfold for hours and hours.
Might go order that Lego ornithopter now.

Prospect would have been right at home in the late ‘00s era of low budget/high concept sci-fi movies with the likes of Cloverfield, Moon, District 9 and Monsters. These are the types of films that fuelled my interest in filmmaking.
Pedro Pascal is as great as always in this and Sophie Thatcher does a very good job playing opposite him in what is her first feature film. The way everything is designed and put together make the world feel grounded and tangible without sacrificing the otherworldliness of the environment they’re in.
There are times when people hype up a film, you watch it and then you wonder where in the world all that hype came from. The Shawshank Redemption is not one of those films. It is brilliant.
Wow! Having not seen this film since its cinema release last year I completely forgot how damn awesome it is! I really enjoyed how shooting the film found footage style really integrated the audience into the story and how the growth of Andrew's powers impacted the way the camera was used. The action throughout is outstanding, from cloud football to Andrew's neighbourhood scumbag attack. This all leads up to the finale which is unbelievably entertaining, the climax of which hits you like a giant spear through the chest. All the performances were very believable, especially from DeHaan who really sells the socially awkward, troubled teenager.
