Wow… I never thought I would ever say this in my life, but Tom Hanks actively ruins this movie. I also don’t say this that often but this movie was way too fucking long. I couldn’t believe how bored I was during this movie. Filmmaking was serviceable but the editing sucked. It wasn’t Bohemian Rhapsody or Don’t Look Up levels of shite, but still shite nonetheless. I don’t know, Austin Butler was good tho I guess.

A very effective thriller with very well developed atmosphere, and an extremely great antagonist. Ethan Hawke nails his performance in this movie, and the script is surprisingly strong. It sets up the final confrontation really well and has some great setups and payoffs. It’s very natural cause and effect for the most part. The only thing that holds this movie back is a couple small contrivances. The cinematography, filmmaking, and editing is very cheesy, and very 70s, but I kinda loved that to be honest. Scott Derrickson delivers once again.

Everything I’ve cared about in the MCU and every action that has been taken by the characters has been rendered meaningless. This show literally strips any and all free will from all the characters, whom we previously thought were all making meaningful choices, as well as from any…

“Yeah actually, I am excited, which is weird because I don’t really get excited about things. I kind of expect disappointment, so that I’ll never actually be disappointed. It’s just, I don’t know it just kind of feels different this time for some reason.”

Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021) is big stupid dumb movie that is filled with cringe humor half the time, contrivances, broken multiverse nonsense, and absolute absurdity sprinkled throughout. And I fucking love it.

    Like they’ve been…
