i absolutely adore how they fixed carol's backstory so it doesn't revolve around men, making mar-vell a woman and someone who respected carol as a pilot was a Bold move coming from marvel. and they don't waste time having a romantic hetero subplot and instead show carol basically raising monica with maria (insert harold they're lesbians meme). honestly i cannot wait for a sequel to explore more of carol's character. thanos has left the gc
