Baby Groot is cute.

From being a band of the “biggest idiots in the galaxy” to being the galaxy's Guardians, they might as well have filled the demanding role of bringing novelty to the table, and not just an ample of irreverent jokes trying to be funny (aha, Taserface). All d!ck jokes aside, the wit of Gunn's script here can be sometimes hit or miss in how it benefits the chaotic action and goofy mood. The sets are standardly eye-catching though, and the chemistry is still strong.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 (2017), although not upping its podium as its predecessor's due to it being puerile, continues a guaranteed overlong fun with the extraterrestrial misfits.
