It can not be understated how fucking amazing the production design of this movie is, rivals the top spot in that regard across all the movies I’ve seen. Also both Hopkins and Oldman are so good in their roles, absolutely captivating. I will admit I got rather lost and even a little uninvested at points though, so will definitely require a rewatch before I rate it anything higher.

The Social Network 2010
I was already going in with pretty high expectations due to how highly regarded most of my mutuals hold this film, but holy shit, what an absolute masterpiece. Every aspect of filmmaking, from the sound track, acting, writing, editing (Jesus Christ the fucking editing) was pulled off masterfully. The film is so tense and immersive, and it’s completely heartbreaking to watch this friendship end over greed. Easy 10/10!
