Ya Like Jazz?’s review published on Letterboxd:
Been waiting for this one for a very, very long time, but writing reviews is hard and I want to go to bed, so I’ll keep it quick for now. Just as fierce and tremendous as it should be. Stanfield, Kaluuya, Plemons and Fishback are ridiculously strong performers. All around tight editing and scoring, wrapped in a brilliantly biting script. If anything, my only critiques are that I wish it gave more, went further, and finished with a little more punch. Seems to only be playing at the Rialto right now, but don’t let that deter you from catching it.
