Completely original, totally engrossing. Doesn’t quite nail the ending for me, but in every other way it’s fascinating.

Still a completely entertaining film! Stephen Lang's performance is top-notch and magnetic, as is the writing for his character. And the last 30-minute battle scene frankly beats anything I've seen in any Marvel or even Star Wars film.

A sub-made-for-TV-quality movie that does its best to bring the Cloverfield franchise down into ruin. I hope it doesn't succeed. In retrospect, it's hard to see the watch-it-TODAY surprise release by Netflix as anything but a cynical ploy.

Instead of watching this, watch 10 CLOVERFIELD LANE again.
