  I should love Mike Flanagan. He has an easily recognizable visual style. His writing is distinctive. He's a director who's great with both actors doing dialog-driven scenes and striking visual storytelling. I do love his movies, thoroughly. It's ever since he started doing TV that I haven't been able to appreciate his work.
