  I'm reading Simmons novel The Terror and I watched this hoping to get more information about rescue efforts of the doomed Franklin Expedition but it ended up being more about the artic explorer Rae, who eventually discovered their fate through Inuit testimony, and their possession of some of the Franklin Expedition artifacts. His report back to Great Britain ended up in controversy because the Inuit reported that the Franklin Expedition had reduced themselves to cannibalism. Still it was a worthwhile…
