Al Pacino dips his finger in holy water, eyes wide with lust, his tongue touching the tip of his lips. Al Pacino gets his dick sucked in a restaurant and laughs diabolically. Al Pacino casually encourages incest. Al Pacino yells “NNNOOOO” repeatedly and bursts into flames. That’s really all you need to know about this movie. Just pure, balls-to-the-wall, ridiculous, over the top, super 90’s, unadulterated fun.
This film has so many areas and moments where it could have gone horribly, horribly wrong. It could have been cheesy, over the top, or just plain dumb. I am beyond thrilled that in all of these areas and moments where the potential for disaster existed, it was all handled so greatly and so tenderly.
