    Walter Hill stole my attention and has kept it in a locked safe somewhere underground since my wide young eyes caught The Warriors playing on tv, far too late at night. This film has eluded me the longest, though, and I wish I'd seen it before I'd seen Baby Driver, Bullitt, or The Fast and/or maybe Furious franchise because I'd have such a deeper appreciation for it if maybe they didn't try to superglue a plot to them.

    You'd think Spielberg would impress a bit more when it comes to referential humour. I counted absolutely zero beanie babies.

    I avoided watching this film for as long because I knew its egregious, over-the-top nerdy self flagellation would gross me out to the point of vomiting. And it did, this film was so aggressively lame I threw up.

    The metal gig sequence in this film is shot for shot how I’d film a live action scooby doo movie. If they weren’t in costume this is perfectly, thematically, visually just a spiritual sequel to Scooby Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed. God bless.
