Kudos to Jason Reitman and Diablo Cody for giving us such an amazing and funny film about, above all, healing; seen through the journey of a pregnant teenager. Doing so without judgement on the characters or their circumstances, no matter how "preventable" they are on the eyes of society takes certain vision and sensibility.

And of course, hands down to the moving and deeply tender performance by Elliot Page, which elevates the film to a higher level.

Big Fish explores the vision of a loving man who sees the world in a fantastic way. He's doesn't see himself as a martyr, but as someone who chooses the hardest path. He's not a victim of the circumstances, he's a hard working man.
Understanding this idealized point of view is key to not just see his stories as an spectacle, rather as a positive way if living.

Evan McGregor's smile! I'm not exaggerating when I say that seeing him smile charms my heart and makes me feel cozy, almost like falling in love at first sight. What a nostalgic, romantic and beautiful experience.
